About Hallie Heuser
I started HLH Graphic Design back in 2006 when the economy started to take a turn for the worse. At the time, I worked in the building products industry which was taking a major hit from the housing crisis. Fast forward to 2014, when I left the building product design world, moved to a new city, and decided to really give this freelance business full time commitment. I even went back to school for Web Design and Digital Marketing to expand upon my graphic design skills. HLH Graphic Design altered it’s direction to be able to provide not only print design services but web and marketing services as well. After all, they are all connected and it’s easier for a business to get all these services in one place. The alternative can lead to issues with your business not having a unified brand image across all platforms of communication causing inconsistencies.
I use What the Font all the time on my phone to figure out what fonts are used in logos and other designs when I just can’t seem to find the right font. A lot of my clients work with companies as sponsors and for some reason these sponsors never have vector logos to give me and they just pull them off websites and so the quality is not that great for printing. I end up having to recreate the logos as a vector so we can print them on large banners, t-shirts, etc. Both Dropbox and Google drive are essential when I am in meeting and need to share a file or show an example of a project that is not complete yet. I also use Dropbox for adding my designs to my phone photos for posting to the various Instagram accounts I manage.
